I’m Kristi, the person behind VintageToMemo.
VintageToMemo began with a feeling of nostalgia. I was born and raised in Estonia during the Soviet era, and I never imagined that the everyday objects surrounding my childhood would one day become treasures I would search for, collect, and share with others.
Over the years, I began to see these objects differently - not simply as old things, but as small pieces of history filled with memories, craftsmanship, and stories.
My love for vintage grew gradually from curiosity into a true passion. Today, I enjoy exploring flea markets, second-hand shops, estate sales, and antique fairs, never knowing what special discovery might be waiting around the next corner.
Sometimes I come home with just one wonderful find; other times, my car is filled with treasures. I choose every item carefully, as if I were bringing it into my own home.
My finds range from vintage books, ceramics, and glassware to artwork, home décor, and distinctive pieces from the Soviet era. Whether it’s a beloved children’s book, a beautifully illustrated cookbook, an elegant porcelain figurine, or a handmade vase, I believe every piece deserves the chance to be appreciated and loved again.
Through my photography, I try to show each item as honestly and beautifully as possible - its details, colours, signs of age, and the unique character that first caught my eye.
A New Shop, But Not a New Journey
VintageToMemo’s independent online shop is new, but I’ve been selling vintage on Etsy for several years. During that time, I’ve had the pleasure of sending carefully selected finds from Estonia to customers around the world.
You can visit my Etsy shop to see feedback from previous customers and my selling history.
