Antique Estonian Hymnal Uus Lauluraamat 1904 Tallinn – Embossed Leather Binding

Uus Lauluraamat (New Hymn Book) – Tallinn, 1904

This little hymnal was printed in Tallinn in 1904, when Estonia was still part of the Russian Empire. The leather cover carries a cross and the words “Ole ustav” (Be faithful), and inside are the hymns in old Fraktur type, plus the order of Sunday service. Holding it, you can feel how many hands have turned these pages.
