Vintage ceramic beer stein featuring “The Horse Fair,” after Dutch equestrian painter Wouterus Verschuur (1812–1874).

The colourful wraparound scene depicts a lively 19th-century horse fair with horses, riders, traders, spectators and dogs. The decoration is inscribed “Horse Fair Holland 1842.”

Condition
Good vintage condition with age-related character. Visible glaze crazing throughout, with some staining, discolouration and wear, especially around the base. No obvious major chips or structural cracks are visible in the photographs. Please review all images carefully for condition.
