A distinctive Aareschlucht eagle figurine associated with the famous Aare Gorge in Switzerland.
The piece features a dramatic eagle with outstretched wings standing on a sculpted rocky base. The eagle and rocky section appear to be made from a moulded plastic-type material, while the lower rectangular plinth is made of wood and marked “Aareschlucht” on the front. A natural-coloured cord is wrapped decoratively around the base.
The detailed feathering, talons, hooked beak and spread-wing pose give this souvenir strong decorative character.
