Charming bird-shaped water whistle, most likely dating from the 1960s–1980s and originating from Eastern Europe.
This type of whistle is designed to be partly filled with water and blown through the tube. The water changes the airflow and creates a bubbling, warbling sound similar to birdsong.
The piece features a larger green, cream and pink bird with molded feather details, accompanied by a smaller orange bird on the base. Its softly faded colors give it a distinctive folk-toy character.
